Adriana Mihaylova

Adriana Mihaylova is an expert with over 14 years of experience in the field of public relations, marketing and communications. Currently she is involved in two major projects related with Bulgaria’s capital Sofia. Adriyana is coordinating the Communications for Vision Sofia – the “Long term development strategy for Sofia and the region” which is an initiative of the Sofia Municipality with the scope of creating a system of interaction and analysis of the current condition of Sofia. The developed system is to be used as a basis for adapting all current strategies and developing the new ones until 2050. Adriyana is also the founder and chairman of the City Ideas and Design Association, which stands behind the brand #soSofia. The #soSofia project aims to collect contemporary perspectives, symbols and signs of the urban landscape of Sofia seen through the eyes of different residents and guests and transforms them into souvenirs to promote the city.

As Managing Director of Ogilvy Public Relations, Adriyana also takes care of corporate and brand PR, social responsibility and social networks of companies such as IKEA, Absolut, Philips, Unilever and others. From 2007 to 2014 she works at VIVACOM, where she participates in major strategic projects such as the rebranding, the launch of the CSR platform VIVACOM Fund, VIVACOM Art Hall, and others. She has worked as an external consultant for some of the biggest cultural events in the country such as Night / Plovdiv and One Architecture Week. In 2014, she is part of the TEDxBG team. Adriana has a PR degree from the University of Sofia, Advertising and lifestyles from NBU and a specialization at the London School of Public Relations.
